Service

Pataka Play is an over-the-top streaming Platform offering entertainment including movies, web series and original productions owned by Spectrum Wave Entertainment or its licensors. The Platform may be available through mobile applications, web browsers and connected devices.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into this agreement. Anyone under 18 is prohibited from creating an account or accessing the Platform.

Accounts

• Certain features require registration.
• You must provide accurate, current information.
• You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential.
• Spectrum Wave Entertainment is not responsible for unauthorised access caused by user negligence.

Subscriptions and payments

• Subscription plans and pricing may change at our discretion.
• Payments are handled by authorised third-party providers.
• Payments are non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise.
• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Accounts may be suspended for payment failure or fraudulent transactions.

Content ownership and licence

Content is owned by Spectrum Wave Entertainment or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream it for personal use only. You may not reproduce, modify, publicly perform, distribute or commercially exploit the content.

User restrictions

You agree not to:

• Share, sell or distribute account credentials.
• Illegally download, record or distribute content.
• Bypass content-protection measures.
• Use the Platform for unlawful, abusive or harmful purposes.
• Post or share material that is defamatory, obscene or infringes another person’s rights.

Violations may result in termination and legal action.

Service disclaimer

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility, complete accuracy or error-free operation and are not responsible for technical disruptions to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Spectrum Wave Entertainment is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profit, data or business opportunity. Total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the preceding 12 months.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Spectrum Wave Entertainment, its directors, officers, employees and affiliates for claims or losses arising from your breach of these terms, infringement of third-party rights or unauthorised or illegal activity through your account.

Participation in activities

Spectrum Wave Entertainment is not responsible for injury, death, mental trauma, property loss, cost or expense connected with participation in an activity offered on the Platform, selection or disqualification, company decisions, technical or typographical errors, or interruption and cancellation caused by force majeure.

The Company is not responsible for invalid, incorrect, expired or third-party-redeemed vouchers, technical faults in a voucher system or failure to follow redemption conditions. Users agree to indemnify the Company and its affiliates for claims arising from their own acts, omissions or misrepresentations.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account without notice for a violation of these terms. You may cancel at any time, but unused portions of a subscription are not refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Mumbai, India. To the extent legally permitted, users waive participation in class-action proceedings against Spectrum Wave Entertainment or Pataka Play.

Changes and contact
